I found this class particularly interesting because the discussion about how with the cold war the main reason was that all these countries wanted to destroy one another and they were pretty successful inventing technology in order to do that. However, out of all the wanting to destroy one another they invented the internet which its main purpose practically is to connect people that couldn’t be connected otherwise as well as give them unlimited access to countless forms of information. And its pretty ironic how the internet which is used as a way to connect people came out of people wanting to destroy one another.
